RIP Gil Scott-Heron

Legendary spoken word poet and musician Gil Scott-Heron 

passed away today at the age of 62 in New York City.

Known to hip-hop and spoken words historians and 

purists as a forefather, he was best known for his

classic spoken word piece,

"The Revolution Will Not Be Televised", from the

classic album, "Pieces Of A Man".

Rest In Peace, Mr. Heron.
